Terms of Service
Effective date: 26 July 2026 Last updated: 26 July 2026
These Terms govern your use of the Macroutine mobile application and our meal delivery service. Please read them before subscribing — by creating an account or requesting a subscription, you agree to them.
1. Who you are contracting with
Macroutine is operated by Rayene Kanoun, an individual (sole trader), based in Djerba, Houmt Souk, Tunisia. In these Terms, "we", "us" and "our" refer to Rayene Kanoun, trading as Macroutine. "You" refers to the person holding the account.
You can reach us at support@macroutine.app or +216 28432711, or through the Support section of the app.
2. What Macroutine is
Macroutine is a meal subscription service. You tell us your goals, dietary preferences and allergies; we plan a personalised set of prepared meals and deliver them to your address on the days you choose.
We are a food delivery business. We are not a healthcare provider, a clinic, or a source of medical or nutritional advice. See section 10.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to hold an account and subscribe. The service involves financial commitments and the processing of health-related information, and is not designed or intended for children.
You must provide accurate information, particularly your allergies, your delivery address, and your phone number. We rely on all three to deliver safely. You are responsible for keeping them up to date.
You may hold one account. Accounts are personal and may not be shared, resold, or transferred.
4. Delivery area
We deliver only within our published service zones. The app checks your address against those zones when you add it; if you are outside, you can register your interest and we will contact you if we expand there.
We may change our service zones. If we stop serving your area while you have an active subscription, we will contact you and refund the value of any deliveries you have paid for and not received.
5. How a subscription works
5.1 Requesting a subscription
Choosing a plan in the app creates a subscription request. A request is not yet a contract and does not start your deliveries. We review it, contact you to confirm the details and arrange payment, and then either approve or decline it.
Your subscription begins only when we approve your request. You will be notified when that happens.
We may decline a request — for example if we are at capacity, cannot serve your address, or cannot reach you to confirm. If we decline, you owe nothing.
5.2 Deliveries and credits
Each plan entitles you to a set number of deliveries ("credits"), delivered on the weekdays you selected. A credit is used when a delivery is prepared and dispatched.
Skipping a day or pausing does not consume a credit — the delivery is rescheduled to a later date instead. Your subscription ends when all credits have been used.
5.3 The order cutoff
Each delivery has a cutoff, currently 2 days before the delivery date at 23:59 (Africa/Tunis). The app always shows the cutoff for each box.
Before the cutoff, you can change meals, portion sizes, remove ingredients, skip the day, or change the delivery address.
After the cutoff, the box is locked. Ingredients have been ordered and preparation has been scheduled. A locked box cannot be changed, skipped or cancelled, and it consumes its credit whether or not you are there to receive it.
5.4 Pausing
You can pause your subscription from the app. Pausing prevents deliveries during the paused period and pushes the remaining ones later — you do not lose credits. Boxes that have already passed their cutoff still ship.
5.5 Changes to your plan
Your plan, meal counts and start date are fixed once approved. To change them, cancel and request a new subscription. Delivery days, addresses and individual meal choices can be changed at any time, subject to the cutoff.
6. Prices and payment
6.1 Prices
All prices are shown in Tunisian Dinar (TND) and are inclusive of VAT. The price shown when you request a subscription is the price you pay; we do not change the price of a subscription after it is approved.
6.2 Payment is in cash
There is no online payment. You pay the full subscription amount in cash when your first delivery arrives. Nothing is charged when you submit a request, and we never ask for or store card details.
Please have the exact amount ready. If payment is not made on the first delivery, we may suspend or cancel the subscription and no further deliveries will be made.
6.3 No automatic renewal
Your subscription does not renew automatically. When your credits run out, deliveries stop. If you want to continue, you request a new subscription and we confirm it as before. You will never be charged for a period you did not explicitly request.
6.4 Price changes
We may change our prices for future subscriptions at any time. A change never affects a subscription that has already been approved.
7. Cancellation and refunds
You may cancel at any time from the app. Cancellation takes effect immediately for deliveries that have not yet passed their cutoff; a box already past its cutoff will still be delivered and still consumes its credit.
Our refund rules are set out in our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
8. Delivery
We deliver to the address on the box, in the time slot you selected. Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees.
Someone must be available to receive the delivery. If we cannot deliver because nobody is available, the address is inaccessible, or the details you gave are wrong, the delivery is treated as completed and its credit is used. We will always try to contact you before that happens.
If we fail to deliver — we miss it, arrive outside the agreed slot, or the food arrives in unacceptable condition — that is our responsibility and section 3 of the Refund Policy applies.
9. Food safety and allergens
Please read this section carefully. It is the most important part of these Terms.
9.1 Shared kitchen — cross-contamination
Our meals are prepared in a shared kitchen that handles many ingredients, including common allergens such as gluten, dairy, eggs, nuts, peanuts, soy, fish, shellfish and sesame.
We cannot guarantee that any meal is free from any allergen. The allergy filters in the app remove meals whose *recipes* contain an allergen you have declared. They cannot eliminate the risk of cross-contamination during storage, preparation or transport.
9.2 If you have a severe allergy
If you have a severe, anaphylactic or life-threatening allergy, do not rely on this app or our service. The allergen filtering we provide is a convenience for dietary preference and mild intolerance. It is not a medical-grade allergen control, and we do not represent it as one.
9.3 Your responsibility
You are responsible for declaring your allergies accurately and keeping them updated, and for reading the ingredient list on each meal before eating it. Ingredient lists are shown in the app for every meal.
If a meal arrives without the ingredient information you need, do not eat it — contact us.
9.4 Storage and consumption
Meals are prepared fresh and must be refrigerated on arrival and consumed by the date shown on the packaging. We are not responsible for illness caused by meals stored or handled incorrectly after delivery.
10. Not medical or nutritional advice
Macroutine calculates suggested calorie targets and macronutrient splits from the height, weight, age, sex, activity level and goal you enter, using standard public formulas (Mifflin-St Jeor). These are general estimates, generated automatically, and are not personalised advice.
Macroutine does not provide medical, nutritional or dietetic advice. Our calorie targets and meal plans are not a treatment, a diagnosis, or a clinical recommendation, and no qualified professional reviews your individual plan.
You should consult a doctor or a registered dietitian before starting any meal plan, and you must do so if you:
- are pregnant or breastfeeding;
- have diabetes, kidney disease, heart disease, an eating disorder, or any other medical condition affected by diet;
- are taking medication affected by food intake;
- are under 18.
Do not disregard professional medical advice because of something you read in this app.
11. Your account
You are responsible for the security of your account and the phone number used to access it. Sign-in is by one-time code sent to your phone; anyone with access to that phone can access your account. Tell us immediately if you lose control of your number.
You may delete your account at any time — see our account deletion page or the Profile section of the app.
12. Acceptable use
You agree not to: use the service for anything unlawful; interfere with or attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems; scrape, copy or resell our content or menus; submit false information or fraudulent requests; or abuse our staff or delivery personnel.
We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these Terms, and will refund any unused credits when we do so, unless the breach was fraudulent.
13. Intellectual property
The app, its design, our recipes, photographs, menu content and branding are owned by us and protected by law. Your subscription grants you a personal, non-transferable right to use the app — nothing more.
14. Availability
We aim to keep the app and service running, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may suspend the service for maintenance, or withdraw meals from the menu. If a meal you selected becomes unavailable, we will substitute a comparable one and tell you.
15. Our liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded — including our obligations regarding food safety.
Subject to that, our total liability to you in connection with the service is limited to the amount you paid for the subscription concerned.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. If a change materially affects your rights, we will notify you in the app or by message before it takes effect. Changes never apply retroactively to a subscription already approved. Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
17. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Tunisia. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the competent Tunisian courts.
Nothing here removes any right you have under mandatory Tunisian consumer protection law.
