Delete your Macroutine account

You can delete your Macroutine account and personal data at any time. This page explains how, and exactly what gets removed.

Option 1 — In the app (fastest)

1. Open Macroutine and go to the Profile tab
2. Tap Help & legal
3. Tap Delete my account
4. Read the summary, type `DELETE` to confirm, and confirm

Your account is deactivated immediately and you are signed out.

Option 2 — By email (no app needed)

If you have already uninstalled the app, or cannot sign in, email us at support@macroutine.app with the subject "Delete my account", from the email address on your account or including the phone number you signed up with.

We will verify your identity and delete the account within 30 days, and confirm when it is done.

What happens when you delete

Immediately:

• Your subscription is cancelled
• Any deliveries not yet being prepared are removed from our schedule
• Notification tokens are deleted — we stop contacting you
• Your account is deactivated and you are signed out; you cannot sign back in

After 30 days, permanently deleted:

• Your profile — name, email, phone number
• Your health and dietary data — height, weight, date of birth, sex, activity level, calorie targets, allergies
• Your saved addresses and delivery locations
• Your favourites, meal ratings and meal customisations
• Your delivery history
• Your support conversations

Why 30 days, and not immediately

The 30-day window exists for two reasons:

1. Mistakes are recoverable. If you delete by accident, contact us within 30 days and we can restore the account exactly as it was.
2. Outstanding payment. Because we take payment in cash, there may be a delivery you received but have not yet paid for. The window lets us resolve that before the record disappears.

During those 30 days your account is inactive. Nobody can sign into it, no deliveries are made, and we send you nothing.

What we keep, and why

We are legally required to retain certain transaction and tax records. Those records are anonymised — stripped of your name, contact details, address and health data — so they can no longer be linked back to you. We do not keep your personal data beyond the 30-day window for any other purpose.

Unused deliveries

Deleting your account forfeits any unused delivery credits.

If you have deliveries you have paid for and not received, and you want a refund, contact us before deleting your account — see our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Changed your mind?

If you would rather keep your account but stop deliveries for a while, you can pause your subscription instead (Profile → Manage plan). Pausing keeps all your credits and your preferences, and you can resume whenever you like.

You can also turn off all notifications in Settings → Notifications without deleting anything.
